First Day After Labor Day
There are very few things in life that I can't equate with apple picking. Some lessons thus illustrated are: you have to tolerate the sparse picking in order to get to the heavily laden trees. It never pays to carry apples up the ladder, but sometimes you have to cut your losses. Balance always wins over force. Slow and steady is better than bursts of speed that wear you out, or "slow and easy wins the race."
